A one-to-one Alexander Technique lesson is 45 minutes in duration and costs £40. To book a session, please find the most convenient venue below.

Please note, you won't have to remove your clothing for an Alexander Technique lesson. Just wear comfortable clothes that allow for easy movement; ladies please wear trousers - actually, that applies to gentlemen too!

what to expect in your first
I'll assess your posture, how you stand and how you move. This is done using everyday movements such as getting out of a chair, walking and any other activity that you regularly do; if you're a sports person, I can assess your technique relating to your sport.
alexander technique lesson?
Using gentle touch, you'll be guided through your movements and asked to focus on specific actions and preparations. This will bring any unnecessary muscular activity to your attention, and we'll work together to remove these from your movement.
I'll also show you activities to try at home and in your daily activites to help build on what we cover in a lesson. I recommend lessons on a weekly basis to start with, and once you start to feel more confident, we'll extend this to fortnightly, then every three weeks until you're happy you can apply the technique with instruction.
Often, pupils will come back every 6 months or so for a top up.
